Regina holds a Certificate in Care of the Aged from the Centre of Ageing Studies – University of Ghana, Degree in Logistic and Supply Chain Management Studies from KNUST, Certificate in Social Leadership from the Research Centre for Leadership in Action, NYU Wagner – New York. She also has Certificate in Leadership from Friedrich – Ebert – Stiftung Ghana, FES and another in NGO Management from Cambridge Centre of Excellence, Ghana, a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Purchasing and Supply Management Studies, Accra Polytechnic.
Regina Antwi’s passion for leadership is born out of a genuine desire to bring about a paradigm shift to humanity and mankind. She has worked and volunteered in many Civil Service Organizations to impact the lives of the less privileged in society. Together with a team Regina coordinated several projects such as the Signature campaign for the Passage of Affirmative Action Law and Maternal Health in Community Hands, Boys and Girls clubs in Junior High Schools in the Eastern and Volta Regions of Ghana, all projects of WILDAF – Ghana and also the District Education Watch Project, aimed at improving the educational performance of ten (10) low performing Junior High Schools in the Yilo Krobo Municipality. Coordinated the daily activities of MOCAMI a project to reduce Maternal Mortality in five (5) districts in the Eastern Region also projects of Socio-serve Ghana in partnership with Rite FM.Ensuring a Peaceful Election in 2012 a project of Abantu for development. She further worked with Samel Amo Tobbin Foundation as a project officer, Leading Ladies’ Network as a Relations / Programs Manager and mentored many young individuals to realize their dreams in terms of taking up leadership roles in all aspect of their lives. Regina’s rod is not to give any thought to herself only but to the wellbeing of other people with the inspiration that if an individual is empowered a whole community is empowered.

Mrs. Magdalene Awinyeliya Kannae is a Practitioner in Gender, Local Governance, Social Development and Peacebuilding. She holds a Master degree in Adult Education from the University of Ghana, Legon and a second Master’s degree in Gender Peace and Security from KAIPTC in 2021. Her specialities are in gender, gender analysis, planning, mainstreaming facilitation, programme design, peace and security.
Mrs Kannae, worked with the Institute of Local Government Studies (ILGS) as the head of the Gender and Social Development Centre for over fourteen years. She also worked for almost two decades as a community development officer with the Department of Community Development and rose to a position of Principle Community Development Officer.
As the Head of the Gender Centre, she led in the coordination and facilitation of various programmes. Some of these include, training on women participation in local governance for stakeholders from various districts throughout Ghana; Development of training manuals and facilitating training programmes for newly elected and appointed Assembly Members of Ghana’s local government practitioners. As a Community Development officer, she developed vocational skills programs for women and young girls. Her recent interest has been in peace and security issues and no wonder she embarked on a Master’s degree program in Gender, Peace and Security at the KAIPTC. Her interest has also been in capacitating local authorities to deliver services equitably for females and males. She made several presentations on this subjects for the Institute and as a resource person at various platforms, including, ABANTU for Development, WILDAF, MoGCSP etc programs, She coordinated the Institute’s gender team to develop a Gender Strategies for the Land Administration Programme (LAP), Co-consultant for Development of Gender Strategy for the MLGRD in 2020, team member for the Development of a Gender Policy for the Ghana Police Service in 2020, Led in the development of a gender sensitive tool-kit for MMDAs, Team leader for the Roll out of the Child and Family Welfare and Justice for Children Policies. She has also led the team in the Institute’s collaboration with the UN HABITAT Gender Unit and developed gender programs. Mrs. Kannae is currently the focal Person in Ghana for the West African Women Association (WAWA) a sub-regional women’s association operating in all West African countries. She is a member of the following boards: Women in Law and Development in Africa (WiLDAF); Foundation for Security and Development in Africa- (FOSDA); Basic Needs Ghana and The National Peace Council, Ghana.
Mrs Kannae’s goal and passion is a just and equitable society where the rights of females and males are respected equally.

Emmanuel is a financial management professional, with several years’ experience working in the private and public sector, supporting various organizations within and outside Ghana to implement effective financial management systems. His objective is to support organizations to achieve their short- and long-term growth and profitability objectives in a sustainable and competitive manner. He combines his expertise in IT and financial management to exceptionally improve systems to provide most accurate analysis to aid decision-making and using research to provide information that places organizations ahead of the competition.
He is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana and an associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation Ghana. His key competency areas include;

Emmanuel has consulted for a number of organisations to support the restructuring and redesign of their financial management systems. He has also been the resource person for several financial management capacity building programmes for organisations both within and outside Ghana. Emmanuel was the Head of Finance and IT for ActionAid Ghana between 2007 and 2015. He has written several articles on taxation and has been involved in researches (both local and international) on tax justice. Emmanuel has also made presentations at several workshops and has been panel member of several media discussions in Ghana and abroad on measures to improving taxation and associated policies in Ghana.
He holds an MBA from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and currently pursuing a PhD in Applied Management and Decision Sciences with the Walden University, United States. He is also proficient in various IT applications including SUN Systems, Vision Executive and Excel, QuickBooks, Ms Office among others.

Christian is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Kanko Associates Limited. He has experience in project planning, monitoring, evaluation and management consulting. He has worked with civil society organizations; Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs); and Private Consultancy Firms in managing life cycles of projects in disciplines such as livelihoods, health, governance, agricultural extension, microfinance, and human resource development. Mr. Osei-Yaw has a good knowledge and skills in data analytical techniques (both qualitative and quantitative), and in project planning and management. He has worked as a team leader and an advisor in the management, monitoring and evaluating of a number of local, national and multinational funded projects in Ghana and in the sub region.
Christian has a Master of Arts Degree in Local Government and Public Administration, from the Institute of Local Government and a BA in sociology from the University of Ghana.

Millicent is a Senior Consultant and a manager with baseline survey and monitoring and evaluation experience in a wide range of social development projects particularly with issues concerning vulnerable groups like non-literate children, youths and adults, women and girls. Millicent currently works with the Ghana Coalition of NGOs in Health (GCNH) as the National Coordinator with an oversight responsibility of providing leadership involving assessments, organisational development, project reviews and assistance and motivating programmes of Network member organisations to ensure quality standards in their project implementation processes. Before taking on her current position, Millicent worked with the Organisation Capacity Improvement Consultants (OCIC) as the General Manager and Senior Consultant with the responsibility of doing baseline surveys of clients’ projects, supervising, monitoring and evaluating as well as supporting planned activities of various departments within the organization.
Millicent’s experience as the National Coordinator of GCNH enabled her to sharpen her survey, design and problem-solving skills, in supporting a variety of civil society organisations and rural communities in baseline survey, monitoring and evaluation, organisational development approaches and in grass-root participatory methodologies. She has the ability to work on own initiatives and as part of a team. With lots of experience in training, motoring and evaluation and in social research. Millicent has the ability to apply the concepts of rights-based approaches (RBA) to development and citizen government engagement (CGE). Millicent further has expertise in proposal writing and project management and is dedicated to maintaining high quality standards.
Mrs Millicent Akoto has for over fifteen years been involved in developing and implementing projects that address various vulnerability groups including people living with disabilities, HIV/AIDs, the aged and non-literate people particularly women and girls. Millicent is passionate about gender issues and ensures gender equity in all social development programmes she undertakes.
Mrs Akoto’s research and consultancy engagements have largely been in the area of gender audit, capacity building, governance and accountability. These assignments involved carrying out baseline surveys, evaluation and impact assessment of development projects and researches, giving recommendations for policy decision making.
Millicent has a Master of Philosophy Degree in Social Work, Bachelor of Arts Degree also in Social Work and with Sociology and a Diploma in Adult Education, all from the University of Ghana, Legon. She has also undertaken many training courses, including, Monitoring and Evaluation, Project Cycle Management, Advocacy and campaigning, Budget analysis and monitoring, Rights-based approaches to development (RBA), and Financial management, among others.

An accomplished Social Development Consultant and a Business Entrepreneur with over twenty years’ experience working on and managing international development projects and establishing and managing local businesses. Mary has a proven track record of leveraging operational and strategic expertise in a wide range of sectors including agriculture, youth employment, education, health, justice, anti-corruption, oil and gas, governance, income security, social protection, social enterprise; with gender, rights, participation and empowerment as cross cutting themes and a strong focus on learning.
Currently, Mary is an independent consultant, the managing consultant of the Kanko Associates Limited. Mary is also the founder and chairperson of the BoD of Samuel Amo Tobbin (SAT) Foundation. Until recently she was the Deputy Team leader for STARGhana, she has over twenty years post degree working experience with diverse organizations (Civil Society, government and private sector) both in Ghana and internationally.
Mary has extensive experience in programme design and management and skills in human and organisational capacity development. She has been involved in advocacy campaigns at the international, national and grassroots levels; with extensive experience in mainstreaming vulnerability issues into programming. She has worked in diverse sectors in the development arena and has great understanding of the Ghanaian governance context and extensive experience in supporting CSOs and brokering relations between diverse actors for effective development programming.
